Just got my cycle calendar!
I'm already on BCPs and will be for 4 weeks. I didn't realize that my ER and ET will be Thanksgiving week...wow. My ET is tentatively scheduled for that wed. What if I stim longer? Will they actually do transfers on Thanksgiving?
And aw shucks [sarcasm alert], I might actually have to miss parent/teacher conferences?
I'm also going away on a 5 day field trip with my school the following week. It's not exactly a high physical week, but there's a lot of walking involved. That should be ok during the 2ww.

Yeah, i think no matter what you do it will fall on a holiday or weekend. Its all part of the fun. I'm glad you got your calendar. Turkey day will be here before you know it.
Walking is fine, as long as its not 5 hour hikes. It will be a good distraction actually. But, you will be totally cautious with your body, you wont be able to help it.

Did you end up with the same protocol as I have? I was on bc from 9/17 and took my last one 10/6. Two days off then started meds.

You're right, I will be cautious. Most of my work friends know about the IVFs, so getting them to carry my bags and load the car will be easy.
I was supposed to host Thanksgiving this year. Oh well. Not sure what to do now.

I'm doing BCPs for 4 weeks, usually 3, but I had to fit into their schedule. Then a couple of days later I start lupron 4x a day, gonal-f, and repronex. This protocol is new to me!

 GL my last protocol was the same as your but I did menopur instead of the repronex. It was a lot of shots but I had a good response!

We have the same calendars!!!! LI-IVF, right? The first stim date for the next cycle is 11/10. My ET is 11/26 too!! I told my mom that turkey day is hers this year b/c it's very possible that my transfer could be that day!

Yay, it seems a lot of us will have similar cycles...I am getting my shipment of Lupron today & should be starting that on 10/30. I am not 100% of my protocol yet but it is not going to be much since we are male factor. I had a tenative retrieval & transfer the week before Thanksgiving!!!!

Very cool! Almost the same! My tentative stim start is 11/11.
I'm trying to figure out Thanksgiving now. I usually host it, but my in-laws are too sickly to have it and my grandmother is too old, I wouldn't want to do that to her. My BIL's apt isn't very big and he's an a$$hole, so he wouldn't volunteer to have it anyway. Other relatives in Jersey, but they're going away. Friends going to their in-laws...it's ridiculous this year. No one is around! I think DH and I will just hang home. I'm a fat chick, I love Thanksgiving!

11/11 is DH's 40th b-day!!!
Luckily for us, my IL's are going to be in Italy for Thanksgiving so I only have to worry about my family. Oh, and BIL but I don't really care what he does. He's stiffed us so many times for the holidays, he can sit home by himself for all I care. My sister is PG so I doubt she'll want to have Thanksgiving so it's all my mom. She doesn't have a huge house so she'll just have my family and my sister's family.
DH usually gets stuck working in the morning so I'm hoping my transfer isn't that day. No way he'd be able to get that day off. But, if it is, I guess either my Mom or my sister will come with me. I know I can go myself but I'd rather not.

I just saw this!! What great news!! I'm so excited that you will be starting soon
you know that I have everything crossed for you!!!
and don't even worry about Thanksgiving - if you really want the food and family to be together just celebrate it the weekend before - we used to do stuff like that when M worked for the airlines and would miss the holidays

haha it's more about the food than the family these days 
We'll see how it works out. Hopefully I'll get to see you guys during the Christmas Holidays...you'll be nice and ripe by then.
