HSG Appt.

Well I will be going Monday for the procedure.
I am kind of nervous but I have had a colcoscopy so I think the pain will be the same.

I did hit enter too soon. How did you do after you had this done? My Dr. gave me an antibiotic to take before and after the procedure and I will take Advil for the cramping.

Mine wasn't THAT bad. Uncomfortable yes - but not the excruciating pain that I was expecting!

It's wierd how everyones body reacts differently to it. While MAM's experience wasn't so bad, mine was very painful. So much so that I couldn't go to work afterwards like I planned.

I think taking the advil beforehand is a great idea. Just keep taking breaths during it and you should be ok.
