Mini Vent
My DH sucks..... Right now he chooses to sleep over doing BD, anyone else have this problem?? He takes nothing I say seriously and I have had it! Going to sleep is obviously a prioriety because, until we move into our new house we are currently in my parents and unable to have any form of BD because my mother is in the next room unless he wants it. But when we dated it was perfectly okay to do that. All of a sudden it's about RESPECT, which is complete BS! This is a control issue on his part, He dictates when things happen or they don't.

Re: Mini Vent
that sucks! maybe he's feeling under pressure...are you O'ing this week? a lot of the DH's feel pressure when you HAVE to do the deed because of O or just TTC in general. maybe he's feeling a bit of that?

Re: Mini Vent
I am..."O" is an important for me and he knows it but he can't play this game. I feel just as much stress as he does. Truly not fair wether or not he is tired, there have been nights I was tired and we weren't TTC I had to flip myself over to do the deed! Sorry I'm just angry and frustrated, thanks for listening

Re: Mini Vent
I would flip his *ss over while he's sleeping and proceed to do the "midnight rape" (a la Vince Vaughn in Wedding Crashers).....but I guess that would be kind of disheartening that you have to go through all the effort......I hope he cooperates soon!

Re: Mini Vent
DH has done this to me only maybe twice in the last 11 months of trying, but each time it pi$$es me off. It's hard on them too from what DH tells me. I try not to tell him when I'm going to O and we've made it fun instead of being a chore.

Re: Mini Vent
It's important to make sure DH is completely on board! I know that we would not have gotten this far without DH being 100% committed to having a baby.
Sometimes we put a lot of pressure on our DHs to perform at specific times and days - and that can take the fun out of it.
You're still in the first few months of TTC, right? Try to keep it as light and fun as possible! I promise, it only gets more difficult and stressful as more time passes.

Re: Mini Vent
I'm sorry. Thats all I ever hear from mine, "I'm so tired. You don't understand, I have a physically demanding job". I respond, just take some vitamins. They are all such a pain sometimes.
