can you take your dog pumpkin picking??
I want to go to Lewins farms and DH swears he said dogs were there.....
I dont wanna go all the way there to find out they cant...has anyone gone with their dog?

Not all farms allow dogs. I have been kicked out of a bunch! There is one around Melville though that we go to. Le tme know if that's close to you. FM if you want details!

we brought our dog to lewin's a few weeks ago (apple picking) and she was welcomed with open arms! we also saw many others there with their dogs.

thanks we went today without him b/c we werent 100%
but we saw 2 dogs there so at least we know for next year!

hmmm, i think it is considered jamesport or wading river. it is NOT the farm stand one (where you can buy all sorts of stuff) it is the field/farm that is past that -- where you can pick apples. also, they have a separate (very close by) pumpkin open field... right on sound avenue and the apple one is right off of sound avenue but the signs are very easy to follow. that is where we went. i'm thinking the town is wading river, jamesport -- possibly shoreham!
