So my DH went for his SA / andrology today
And he gets there and was told that I should have picked up a special cup for him  I picked up the usual sterile cup..no one ever told me about a special cup. Now we spent $200 for today. They said they wouldn't charge us if it couldn't be used but stil. Waste of time! Every time he does this he has to take time from work.
Come on already!!!!!  What special cup!!!!!!!!

I am confused too DH used a sterile container bought at Walgreen's (the one time I didn't get it from the RE)

Yea exactly...either I pick it up from the RE or I get a sterile one from CVS... 
They also said he had sperm but it was not "awake" and the tech was going to "wake them up"...oh dear God from the mouths of men...DH has no idea how to further explain it to me. Guess I'm calling the nurse!

Did you call the nurse? What does "waking them up" mean???
And as far as the cup, give me a break. A sterile cup from anywhere should be fine as long as he got it all in there...
