do friends/family look at you like you are crazy
when you tell them that you count out your days when you are ttc?
my friends/family say "oh you should just let things happen, dont' count out your days and bd when you O, just relax and bla bla bla.... "
So sometimes I feel like .... Ok is this unnatural or crazy? Am I a freak? Obviously not because there is a board full of you ladies. I just feel like sometimes no one else understands - that its not that easy "just letting things happen".
ETA: I dont mean to sound like I announce it to everyone. Just my sister, cousin, mom and 2 of my close friends know that I am ttc.

You are not a freak- you are TTC! And there are only a few days where you can get preagnant, so of course you need to count the days. My mom tells me to relax all the time! She doesn't understand.

yup my mom does....she means well but she is constantly reminding me how with my brother and I she never once thought about these things (ovulation days etc)....

Honestly, I don't tell people--even friends. It's really a private thing for me. I'll joke around with a couple of my best friends like DH is never going to want to have sex again after this TTC process! but i don't go in to details about how many days, etc.

Our families do not know we are trying - and our friends THOUGHT we were crazy until it came to light that we actually need fertility treatments.. so I guess we weren't that crazy afterall!
