Speaking of dental things....
I have an appointment for a cleaning and an exam on Friday. I will be about 3 or 4 days into the 2WW. I *really* need to keep this appointment - I haven'tbeen to the dentist in about 3 years 
When I get there, do I need to tell her that we are trying and that I'm waiting to find out?
Seems that everything that goes wrong medically happens in the 2WW for me. Last month, I had to go for x-rays and a CT scan - this month it's the dentist....

I'm assuming that there will be x-rays...  This is a new dentist for me. I am PETRIFIED of the dentist and this is only adding to my anxiety

You might have to cancel. I cancelled mine during my 2WW since I wasn't sure about how I felt about having an xray and possibly being pregnant. Try calling and asking!

I spoke to my OBGYN since I had a dentist apt 2 days into my 2ww.
He said x-rays were fine, and just to be double shielded.
I told the dentist when I got there, that there was a chance I could be very early preg.- he wasnt concerned.
They put 2 vests on me during x-rays

I broke a tooth (and subsequently needed a root canal ) 2days after I found out I was pg with my son. I had the necessary xrays done they just double drape you with that lead thing.
