so I finally tested
And it came back negative.  So now I'm 5 days late and my anniversary is this week. I know that b!@tch AF is going to show up right on time.

Well today is day 34 and I have never in the histroy in AF gone this long.

I was 7 days late and tested negative in both hpt and blood work...You're not out yet. It wasn't until I was 16days late that I got my bfp's

I didn't do OPKs this month since it was only our first month TTC. I did them when trying with DS and found that I was a late ovulator- day 18 of a 29-30 cycle. I got a postive test only 1 day late with DS. Obviously now I'm going to have to do OPKs every month since my cycle is so out of wack.
ETS- I will wait until Thursday, our 4 year anniversary, and test again. I will probably use a digital test instead of a cheap dollar store one- not that I thikn it really makes much of a difference.

IMO, you probably ovulated later than you think and AF might not even be due yet.
If you don't know when you ovulated, you really can't be sure when AF is due or late.
What have your cycles been like since having DS? What has your longest cycle been?

After having DS I went back on the mini pill, and then back to my regular pill after I stopped BFing. Because of the pill, my cycles were always right on time. Before even being on the pill, my cycles were no longer than 31 days MAX.

Anything's possible!
But in all likelihood, your cycle is probably adjusting to being off the pill. I don't think your previous experiences necessaily will predict your current one. I'd wait at least another week before testing - save yourself some money and disappointment!

Unfortunately that doesn't factor in at all. Your body has 'technically' been re-booted. You went on the pill again and things got all changed on ya...
Try to relax on the testing...the more you are testing and getting upset - the later AF will be...unfortunately, another one of lifes' cruel factors.
