Tracking my period after going off BC

So this past month I stopped taking bc. My last period was on Sept 15. I want to start tracking my periods and eventually keep track of my O's. We're not ready quite yet to ttc (well I feel like I am but dh is definitely not yet), but I want to start getting prepared and becoming more in tune with my cycles.

I signed up with fertility friend and mymonthlycycles, but I don't know if I should even bother inputing my info in yet, since I know a lot of women's cycles are screwy after coming off bc and I don't want to throw off the online calendars. I don't know if this makes sense to anyone Chat Icon How does all of this work after bc?

Oh also I was only on bc since April, so hopefully my body will regulate very fast. But I don't know. Chat Icon

Please help! Sorry this is so long.

No one can really predict what your cycles will be like once you're off bcp.

I think you should put your info into FF anyway - you can always exclude the cycles later, but at least you'll be able to keep track.

Best of luck! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Oh ok. I wasn't sure if I should just wait a few months and then start tracking them, but Im kind of excited and want to start now.

I didn't know you could exclude months. I have no idea how any of those websites work.

Thank you!

Oh one other question.....what is the difference between the two websites? Should I just pick one? I don't plan on temping right now, but I definitely might in the future.

I used mymonthly cycle for YEARS to keep track of AF (way before TTC!) but I have to say that I like FF a lot better. Chat Icon
