Ovulation question.

I am on CD18 and my online chart predicts O for CD20 which is this saturday. My average cycles are 33-34 days although I did have a 28 day cycle in July.

I used the cheap Ovulation kits last Sunday and got a "positive" on that for 2 days and then nothing. I dont know if it was a positive as the lines werent darker than the control line but if they werent true then why would I get no lines on the third day?

I had trouble with the digital OPK at the beginning of the week but on tuesday and wednesday of this week I got a big O when I tested after a 3 hour hold and towards the evening.

Sorry for rambling I think I am trying to rationalise all this in my mind.

Question: If I am supposed to O this saturday then I should be getting a when I test with the digital OPK today and if not today then for sure tomorrow right?

I am so that I might have missed O as I know I probably did my last two cycles by not testing correctly.

Any advice before I turn myself inside out with questions.

wait... so when you tested ... were the lines close in color?

I didnt get a smiley I got two lines -Grrr hate those tests - and when I tested I got the strong control line then the first day which was sunday I got another line - but not as strong as the control line and then on monday I got a second line and this time it was darker but still not as dark as the control line then on tuesday nothing.

We did BD on Sunday and Monday but not since - too tired Zzzzzzzzzz.
