Do you have a hair cut like this?
If so, who cuts your layers & can you recommend?
... I know these people get to have their hair blown out by professionals....but if you love your layers pls recommend your hair stylist. I will travel

it all depends on how you blow out your hair. Any layers will look like that as long as you are blowing with a round brush and flipping the ends out or under. Layers won't show if you dry your hair flat straight or if you use a flat iron.. unless you use it to flip out the ends as well.
I go to Harvey's Place in Cedahurst. I use Maria..  her!

Well, I certainly don't look like these girls, but I do have long layers -
I go to Nancy at Salon Lissome in Huntington on Jericho - $55 for a cut.

thanks for the replies!
Tine -- i like your hair, especially in the 2nd pic --- my problem is always that my hair grows so fast and there is a lot -- but it is not thick, so when i get long layers it looses its shape quickly and then looks totally limp
and when i asked my hair stylist for shorter layers , i looked like i was rockin the rachel green "shag" -

Ugh.......same thing ALWAYS happens to me.
I go to Tru in St. James - I have to admit that I went to the owner Brian and expressed my concern over this and he said that everyone had been cutting my hair wrong.
He cut it and OMG - it was exactly what I had been wanting so I would definitely recommend him.
There is a bit of a wait to get an appointment with him - beware though, he's a bit self absorbed and a bit of a pain but the cut is worth it.
