I do not think it's ballsy to see if another family member can pick them up. I realize that the snow changed everything and that the parents maybe can't get home now, but the snow was expected and they should have made a back-up plan in case they couldn't get home. You did not sign on to care for this child for four days and I think you should find one of their family members. I'm surprised the parents didn't try and call someone for you! This child is young, I presume, and doesn't go to school?

Is it a friend's kid or family member? I wouldn't think that asking another family member to take him/her until Tuesday a big deal. If you have to go to work, what else are you supposed to do?
Would they have to pick him/her up or could you bring the child to them?

Its a friends child and all their family members are fully aware of the situation but havent offered to pick them up. I just talked to the mother and she said they wont be able to have her sis here til tomm at 8 am. I am not even at my home. This is nuts!

I think you need to call them back and say that you must go to work and that you will be dropping off the child soon (if you're able to do that)

I just did that and she told me someone will be here at 730 am she promises. This sux for me.
