ughhh... i made DH feel bad
i feel so bad right now... i just want to hug my hubby ..
so the other day my DH asks me what i want for my birthday.. (this friday i will be 30 ) so can any of you guess what i said??????  A Baby ..
so he looks at me and says... apparently i cant give you that right now.. he seemed upset and truly dissapointed ...
so yesterday i came home from work and he suprised me with flowers .. it was sooo cute.. but i am the one who feels bad for saying that!! he shouldnt!!

I can't tell many times I have said the same thing in the last month. I always feel SO badly after saying it too.
You're being honest and you didn't mean to hurt his feelings and he knows that.

it just came out... and i said it so seriously too... if i was joking and laughing about it ... it would be one thing..but i really did feel bad

Awe! Don't worry about it. I am sure he knows that you are just saying what is on your mind. I know, they feel bad about the whole process too!
I made a similar comment to DH the other day about what I want for our anniversary (Oct 21). He had a similar reaction.

I understand why you feel bad, and I understand why your DH felt a little hurt. But I'm sure he knows that you didn't mean it as an attack on him, you're just frustrated with the whole TTC thing.

I am sure it upset him b/c he knows how badly you want it, not because you said it and I am sure he wants it just as badly as you do. Dont feel bad, you were just saying what you really wanted and it has nothing to do with DH being able to give it to you. It is what you want for both of you.

maybe it was a sign... i should be Oing on my b-day! not getting my hopes up of course

This totally reminded me of the SATC episode where Charlottes husband brought home a cardboard cut-out of a baby when they couldn't get pregnant, and she threw it at him.
