How often do you wear...

the same pair of pants per week/
Same shirt? etc

I was reading one of the mags--Instyle and they have 6 pieces you can mix and match during one week so it got me thinking--how often do you wear the same pants /shirt etc per week?

honestly-- it depends what I am doing that week. But I tend to dress in clusters-- where I put the same thing on, with different things in a time period. Less time to think about putting something on.

But, I am not going to see the same people, or going to the same place.

I think with pants and/or skirts-- you can get away with wearing twice a week to work though. Depending how basic they are.

In the same week? Never. But I basically have 5 pairs of work pants and 5 pairs of work capris for summer that I cycle through.

I will never repeat an entire outfit in one week... but staples like my black pants I will repeat with a different top maybe.
But in the summer I never repeat- even for 2 weeks- just because I have so many more summer clothes than winter clothes...

I don't repeat pants or shirts in the same week to work.

I might repeat a blazer/suit jacket on occasion.

Jeans don't count!

I have a 3 week cycle - I won't repeat any full outfits.

Although I have worn the same black pants twice in 1 week before...

I'll rewear my favorite pair of jeans. I won't rewear the same shirts ... during the week... but I might on the weekends

I have two part time jobs, so I will wear the same black pants in one week. Sometimes I will wear a cardi or dress twice in one week, but not to the same job.

I have worn black pants or khakis more than once (washed and with a diff top) to work..

Never. We're allowed to wear jeans on Fridays so I have about 8 pairs of different pants that I can wear Monday-Thursday so I can get two weeks of no repeats.

Never wear the same pants in one week. Friday I can wear jeans so I only really need 4 pairs to alternate if I wanted to go that route.

it really depends what i'm doing... like if i wore a newly washed pair of jeans out to dinner, yeah i'll wear those the next day at work if need be (we are allowed to dress casual to work whenever)

i will usually put my jeans in the wash after 2-3 wears (again depending on what i'm wearing them to)

shirts are different - i do not wear the same shirt in the same week at work... but if i wear a particular casual shirt @ work on monday and then plan to go to the movies with DH on tuesday night, i dont have any problem wearing the same shirt i wore to work on monday to the movies on tuesday

lol did that make any sense?!

I'll wear basic black pants sometimes twice in a a week. I never wear the same shirt. But I have so many pairs of pants that I don't really have to wear them twice in a week.

I'll never re-wear the same shirt in one week. Sometimes I will re-wear the same pants (depending how caught up i am on laundry) but never more then twice and I always space it out.

I usually try to wear pants/skirts and select shirts twice before I wash them because it helps them last longer. With that said, I might wear the same pants twice, but we're talking black pants that I have 9 billion pairs of. Stripes, colored or plaid pants...I will wait a few weeks because I feel they stand out too much. So I might re-wear what I wore last mOnday on the Thursday of the following week. Anything that is TOO memorable, imo, I will wait longer.
