Re: Brazilian Wax anyone?
I did for the first time the week of my wedding! I had never done any waxing down there before, just trimming/shaving/etc. (sorry if TMI! haha). I'll be honest, it hurt a lot, but it was bearable. After a while I kinda got numb to it, it was, um, the most interior parts that were the most painful! Although I did it completely bare, many ppl leave a landing strip or something...so that would alleviate the most painful part I think!
The first time DH saw it was our wedding night and he didn't know I had done it--needless to say he was VERY happy

Re: Brazilian Wax anyone?
i go all the time. it's not so bad.. first time might be but it gets better each time. Believe me, it's not HALF as bad as you think its gonna be.. my advice.. go to a place that does it with sugaring. Sugar sugar in port jeff and Nature's touch in setauket are great. Also, take some motrin before you go... and if you want get some no scream cream online.. put it on about an hour before you go.. they say it works.. idk

I get them done all the time. As the pp said, the first time usually hurts the most and then each month it gets easier. I usually take 2 Advil before I get it done. It is totally worth it and DH loves it.

Re: Brazilian Wax anyone?
I just had mine done for the first time 2 days ago, and it wasn't that bad, I mean there is some pain in certain areas that are more sensitive, it just depends on your pain tolerance. The first time is always the worst, after that it gets better!
Good luck!

I go once a month for one. It really isn't so bad. And it looks great afterwards.

I go every 5 weeks.
It's painful, but worth it.
It hurts less each time you go! I take 2 Advil 30 minutes before, and it's not that bad. Also, it only takes about less than 10 minutes.

Re: Brazilian Wax anyone?
I went for the first time 4 days before our wedding, which was 9/2. It hurt me like hell, I think because it was the first time I had ever done it. I loved the results though and will definately be keeping up with it, probably go every 6 or 8 weeks.

Re: Brazilian Wax anyone?
I suggest taking a couple of advil before hand. It does hurt less the more you go. The first time I had it done I was so nervous but it really was over very quickly.

Re: Brazilian Wax anyone?
my advice for first timers is to go to spa like bliss or completely bare to get it done!!!! they use a much thicker wax that hardens and it looks like it would hurt more than the regular wax but doesnt. it adheres to the hair and not the skin. much better!!
i highly recommend completely bare spa!!! and have them use the purple wax that hardens... i am pregnant and i hear that it is supposed to hurt more b/c of sensitivity and hormones and it's been a walk in the park for me! and i am a wuss when it comes to pain!!!!!!
first time hurts but it goes by rather fast.. it def. gets easier each time you go so dont give up after your first try!!!!!! by the 3rd time, you golden!
just try to go evvery 6 weeks.. good luck!!

Re: Brazilian Wax anyone?
I get waxed every 4-5 weeks. The 1st couple of times it hurts but then you get used to it. It is so worth it.
