I wonder if I am going to be able to resist...
I am 99% sure this is my last winter - we are finally going to move to FL
based on that- I really don't want to spend money fall and winter clothes
so far- I have bought nothing and I feel like I can get away with what I got last year
but it's so hard- I want so many things!!!
I am trying to avoid the mall- but I can see nordstrom from my desk at my DH office
it's calling my name...

You know you can treat yourself even if its for the last time and besides, you can only sell it on ebay after you move

very good point! and what about that 1% chance that I have 1 more winter here....
but when spring comes- I can spend double if I buy nothing now!

Exactly what I was going to post. I went to Key West during a "freeze" and yes, it dropped down at night but during the day was warm and I had to come back with a tan. So, there I was in a BIKINI at the beach and people were walking by me with full on WINTER coats! So buy the clothes, you will wear them

then I will just have to wait till the spring to visit!
the only reason I would come here in the winter is Christmas- and I am hoping that I can sell my family (the ones that are left here) to come to see us then- since my Grandma comes down a week later

If you see something uber-awesome that you love, get it! Florida can get chilly at night, and I know I use sweaters all the the time when I eat at certain restaurants that max out the AC - independent of season!
But yeah, I would totally put most of my winter fashion funds away for a summer time clothing shopping spree!

Ohh I hear you.
But I need some things like a new black winter coat as mine bit the dust, and flats for commuting because I work in the city now, and a wrap sweater but I just can't do it since I started the debt spread sheet you gave me, and I surely don' twant to use my ccard.

Beth - DON'T DO IT!!!
I resisted my last winter - bought one sweater that was it!! You will NOT wear sweaters down here - not even on the cold days - not in SF.

i think its ok if you use a coupon!
actually $25 off $100 purchase at bloomingdales today! they sent me coupons in the mail!
and besides - it doesnt stay hot all year round in FL. you may need some winter stuff.
