The ABC's of OPK's
I was fortunate enough to get pregnant with DS the first month we TTC. At the time, I was on a 28 day cycle and O'd around day 14. Since having DS, AF is lighter and AF went from 6-7 days long to only about 5 days. I am wondering if the day I am supposed to O has changed too. I haven't really been keeping track 
Now that DH and I want to TTC again probaby end of November/December I want to start figuring out when I ovulate and if my schedule has changed. I thought it might be helpful to use a OPK but have no clue how to.
Any advice? 
ETA: When we TTC DS I was use mymonthlycycles.com and it seemed to be right. I starting keeping track of AF on their again.

your cycles didnt seem to change too much...but i say hey... why not take the OPK's ... i use the clear blue easy digitals... .you get a O...for no surge.. and a  for positive.. so you know that you will Ovulate the next day or the day after that!!
the digitals are just much easier to me!!
but yea they are more expensive.. but if you have a regular cycle you can probably just take them for one month just so you know around the time you O.
so with that said.. you can start taking them on CD10 until you get the positive..
and make sure you try to take them between 2pm - 8pm.. with 4 hours before of holding .. dont drink anything for that 4 hours. and take the tests the same time everyday!!

Are they like pregnant tests where you pee on the stick?  (I really am clueless) Should I do it everyday until I get a positive?

If you've been consistently getting AF every 29 days - I would definitely try the CBE digital OPKs (with the smiley). Start testing on CD 12 between 2 and 8 pm after having held in your urine for 4 hours.

Yes they are like pregnancy tests! You just pee on the stick.

just to throw another option out there to you - i rather like the Target brand OPK's - they're relatively inexpensive (cheapest i've found) and they've been accurate for me so far (been using them roughly 5 months now).

the only thing about the CBE and the directions.. it says to use your FMU and we advise you not to.. its better to do it later on in the day!!
