I just need to vent
I was supposed to have HSG today.
But, I had to make sure I was cleared up of an infection that I may or may not have (when I had pap it turned up, but doc said she saw no evidence of it- so I had to re-culture on Friday).
So- Quest was supposed to have the results this AM but now they' won't have it until Wednesday- so I had to cancel the HSG b/c if I did have the infection, then it would cause problems....
but I'm on CD 9 so I can't have HSG until next month.
another month of not knowing what's going on- I guess I will just chart and use OPKs for another month.

My doctor said I can have the HSG between CD 7 and 12.
You might still be able to have it this month!

The people at the lab said not after CD 10..
Hmm. I'm on CD 9 today.. maybe if I get labs on Wed I can call and see.. but I doubt it.

Really? That's surprising.
You should call them again. I know it has to be after AF ends and before ovulation.

i actually made a point of asking the nurse if the x-ray place will fit me in without a lot of notice because of the time restraint. She said the minute you say HSG - they know you have to be there no later than day 10..

I guess every place is different! Mine was originally scheduled for CD 12, but then I had it changed to CD 9 so that I didn't have to miss work.
It might depend on when you ovulate.
I called to make my appointment on CD 1 - they said they keep many slots open since there are restrictions on when you can have that done (same with CD 3 bloodwork).
