what do you think of this?? **update
hi ladies!! I don't visit this board much, mainly b/c we weren't going to officially start TTC until after our first anniversary, which was just this past week......anyway, here's my scenario, not sure if I should take this as a pregnancy sign, but my bff thinks it is though.
the first day of my last cycle was 9/04, we BD'd on 9/14 & 9/15....my cycle is usually about 40 days, so I wouldn't be ovulating for another week normally. The reason my bff thinks I'm PG is b/c for most of this past week I've been really dizzy & lightheaded, and I'm totally not feeling like myself, way more tired than usual. My DH swears I have a "glow" about me.....but I've been chalking it up to being on vacay and getting a tan 
sorry this is so long, but I'm so confused! not sure if I could get PG before I've ovulated in my current cycle. I didn't even know we were going to really try yet, but I think DH decided that one on his own! 
I went to my regular doc on Friday b/c I was convinced I had vertigo or something w/ all the dizziness I was getting. he asked me twice- are you SURE you're not pregnant??? I go back tomorrow for blood test results.....so we'll see! thanks for reading all this!
UPDATE: just came back from the doctor- he thinks I just had inner fluid in my ear which was causing the dizziness, the pregnancy test came back negative

Probably not the answer you're looking for, but I would say the chances that you are pregnant are slim.
First, you BD'd on CD 11 and 12. That would be very early for ovulation, even for someone with a 28-day cycle - so especially for you if you have a 40 day cycle. You probably ovulate somewhere between CD 23 and CD 30.
Also, even if you did ovulate around then, you'd only be 6-7 DPO right now. That would mean that you were feeling symptoms since you ovulated, which is pretty unlikely.
I hope that I'm wrong, but based on the info you gave, I don't think you're pregnant.

thank you so much for the input!! very helpful! my luteal phase seems to be on par w/ the normal 14 days- so usually around CD 26....so I guess I really would be way off!!
I'll definitely update the post after the doctors appt. tomorrow w/ a yay or nay, but just had to vent some of my anxiety!!

all i know is that my 1st pregnancy symptom was dizziness. like my equilibrium was off.................. that was probably 8 dpo

awww Helen, you're so cute!! That woulda been wild if you got a BFP, not even trying! That would be just the kind of thing to happen, wouldn't it? But yeah, like maybeamommy said, it was just too early....and your results confirm that.
Sorry it didn't happen this time- but at least now you get to work at it!

aww thanks Tara!! its funny how as much as DH wants a baby, a small part of me kept questioning "am I ready?" and once you think you might be- ya kinda get your hopes up......just to be disappointed with a BFN.....reminds me of Rachel on Friends when she took a pregnancy test in the bathroom at the wedding
and this might be TMI, the reason I really didn't know we officially started trying is b/c I was pretty intoxicated apparently on one of our BD occasions on the cruise  so when DH confessed after my doctors appt. that I might have a reason to think I'm pregnant.....I was like "I DOOOO??" kinda funny my sneaky little husband!
