You can chart for free. There are certain features that won't be available to you without a VIP membership though.
I have to say that the VIP is totally worth it! It provides some nice features that are very useful! It's not that expensive and it can transfer over to a "pregnancy tracker" if you do get pregnant.

I agree - i was using another one and foudn that it kept changing my data - because it was only good for REGULAR cycles...so every time i put something in - it changed it to make it regular.
FF is well worth the money. AND if you are lucky enough to get pregnant - your VIP membership then goes to a pregnancy tracker.

it is 'taking charge of your fertility" based on the book with the same name
VERY comprehensive website - love it
