Update on me
So I am having a water sono tomorrow because the doctor thinks I might have a polyp in my uterus. He would want to remove it because it could affect implantation. So this month is shot. I wanted to start Clomid but no such luck. I can't help but feel like my issues are slowly adding up: -incompatible sperm and CM -polyp in uterus -borderline short luteal phase
I am starting to wonder whether it is even possible for me to have a baby. I feel like I am not getting any answers in terms of how long this process would take. The plan if it is a polyp to remove it surgically and then start three Clomid IUI cycles and then move to IVF.
Last night, I had a dream that the doctor told me I could never have my own baby. I guess this thing has finally gotten to me.

Re: Update on me
I think most of us feel that way at some point.
I know for me evertime they find the problem, there was always something else discovered, or so it seemend.
I just did my first round of clomid and have an IUI tomorrow. Like you, I never thought we would get to this point.
sending some babydust your way.

Re: Update on me
We've all felt that way at one point or other. We thought once we moved to the RE, I'd be pregnant in a snap, but as we had further testing, our issues became more than just my PCOS.
Unfortunately, there is no easy answer as to how long this process will take.

Re: Update on me
Its definitely better to remove the polyp now.Just think of it as yet another preparation for a baby. I had a D&C to remove cervical tissue before my first ivf and I am definitely glad that he caught it before my cycle started.

Re: Update on me
I just had surgery a little over a week ago to remove a polyp in my uterus and it's not so bad.
I did one cycle of Clomid before I had the surgery (they found it mid-Clomid cycle) but it's definitely better to get the polyp out of there before you start any treatment. In some ways, since I could not try this cycle, it was nice to have a "break".
Best of luck and let me know if you have any questions about the surgery
