Does anyone else get nervous

about actually getting a BFP?

DH and I have been trying for the last 3 months and this month we've been a lot better about BDing ever 2-3 days so I think there is a better chance of getting a BFP.

But thinking about getting a BFP makes me nervous/anxious/scared. In the post about what people say when TTC, I mentioned that there are things that people have said that really make me doubt how ready I am for #2, one of those people being my own mom.

I think it really boils down to the fact that I would have to leave my job, which I LOVE and recently got a $5 raise to be a full time SAHM. Not to mention our whole family dynamic will change. And we're still working on our house from an extension we put on.

Am I the only crazy that gets a rush of emotions when it gets closer to POAS?

this is totally normal!

as much as you want this so badly... that first time you see that BFP .. you kind of freak out a little bit and realize WOW.. this is it! i am going to have a baby! things will change..and so on..

of course not everyone is this way.. i felt like this with my first pregnancy.. but then after i told my husband.. that all went right out the window..

anyways, yea things will be different , but you do what you NEED to do.. and you will adjust and love the new addition to your family!

Here is my story... When DH and I were TTC#1 I had a great job making great money on the books plus made tons of cash off the books.... I was nervous about actually becoming a SAHM, but since DS I love it... Now that we are TTC#2 yes I have been scared about it actually happening since we just bought our fist home in January and still have TONS of credit card bills... Sometimes I wonder are we making the right choice, can we really afford it... But it all boils down to .. YES.. When I actually put everything aside I still have that answer of YES....

Besides we are not getting any younger and since I went into preterm labor and was on bed rest with DS... and had to have emergency c-section due to BP and HR issues I kinds want to have another before I develop anymore issues...

So what it comes to is NO your not crazy when it comes closer to POAS.... Because if your crazy so is the rest of us....

this is going to sound depressing, but i can't imagine getting one.

i can't imagine being lucky enough to become pregnant and have a baby and GET that bfp. I have tried, with NO LUCK at all! (and i have a CRAZY imagination)..

i suppose if i could - i'd be nervous, sure...

I was just talking about this yesterday.

We ALL know how much I have been trying and wanting, wishing and praying, BUT...

I am scared!

I've spent so much time trying that I'm scared of actually being. It will mean huge life changes and that makes me nervous - but at the same time, I know it will be okay.

I honestly cannot picture seeing 2 lines on a pregnancy test! I just can't do it.

I am sure I be feeling every emotion possible - but I have faith that it will all work out.

I get nervous sometimes looking around my house and thinking of swings, high chairs, pack and plays all over the place.

I feel cramped for space as it is, and think of all that stuff everyway and how my life would change....


Sometimes when I'm sitting watching Dr.phil in the afternoon I think wo, this so would not be happening if I had a little one.


i want a baby, but the change is overwhelming sometimes.

I do get nervous sometimes. I get nervous about having a healthy pregnancy and giving birth.

I also get nervous about how things will be different.

But on the other hand, I cannot wait!
