Anemia
Does anyone have problems with this? My levels realy aren't that great at all. My doctor wants me to take Repliva and start eating red meat and spinach at least 3 days a week. Did anyone take Repliva? Is it realy bad on the stomach? I have a bad time with iron pills

Re: Anemia
I started on Slow FE and graduated to Repliva. Honestly I don't love what it does to my stomach. I felt like this entire pregnancy it was either constipation or the other I tried to eat more greens but I am severely anemic w/ thalassemia so not going on it wasn't an option. Good Luck

Did your doctor ever mention that an iron infusion was going to happen? How was the slow fe on your stomach?

No mention of the iron infusion. The Slow FE was fine besides a little constipation, which most iron does anyway. Colace chasers are a must

Re: Anemia
I take it. I take it on an empty stomach with milk, and it has seemed to be fine. No constipation yet either....good luck! I must say that it has helped me feel less tired and all.

Re: Anemia
I am taking Repliva now (after I gave birth). I haven't had any "symptoms" to taking this medicine.
I was put on it b/c I had severe headaches after my C/S.
ETA: it has not effected me going to the bathroom

Re: Anemia
I am on one tablet of Feosol a day. Hasn't affected me too bad...I take it right before I go to bed. I did notice that when I missed taking my prenatals a couple of days while taking the Feosol that I got a bit backed up. My prenatal helps keep me regular I think because it has a softener in it.
