Tell Me I'm not the only one

I like to play everything out and I'm also a worry wart. Currently my DH is a Perm sub looking for a teaching job on the Island. I have a great job in the pharmaceutical field.
We currently live in a one bedroom apartment which we really like. But if we are TTC do you think we should be looking for a 2 bedroom or wait it out until it happens. we don't want to buy anything yet on the island because we do not know where he will end up with a job. We also own a Home down south that we rent out. Long story but we had a brand new home built and rent it. Am I getting two ahead of myself by looking into a bigger place or should I just ride it out and see what happens??
Anyone else in the same situation or similar? Any input would be great.

i'm not in the same situation - but if i have learned one thing during this whole process it is:

you do not know how long this is going to take. continue to live your life as you want to and do what you have to do for you and DH.

let's look at this in a negative way.... You go and buy a house and luck out - DH gets a job nearby. Great!!!!! Now - it takes you a year and a half to get pregnant... that entire year and a half, you are looking at that empty room, wishing you had a baby... I dunno - that would hurt me.

HOWEVER - you could also be one of the lucky ones and get pregnant right away....

My honest opinion is to do what you feel is best. Do not plan on the baby thing happening quickly....but pray and hope for it.

As my doc told us - a perfectly healthy couple, who has sex at the right time, every month, only has a 50/50 shot at getting pregnant!

I would wait it out and see what happens.

As the pp said, you may get pregnant immediately, and I hope you do, but you may not. I have stopped living my life for "when I get pregnant", now I make plans and when/if I get pregnant, I'll deal with the situation.

i would just wait it out and see what happens.. dont rush into moving someplace and not even being PG yet.. you still will have plenty of time once you do get PG!! HTH!

Thanks ladies I'm trying so hard to not let this whole TTC get to my head and it is driving me crazy. I'm also trying to stop posting on this board not because I don't think you all aren't wonderful and great and helpful but for my own mind. I have to stop thinking about everyday temping and charting etc. I hope you all understand. DH and I just want to go with the flow and see whats happens.

Thanks again for all your advice. I will be lurking and back and fourth I'm sure but for now I just need to keep my head clear.
