Dr. tomorrow*updated*
So, after taking Clomid days 3 -7, I have to go back to the Dr. to find out if anything is happening and I am ridiculously nervous about it. I really want to see that there are follicles growing and that there is a chance for a successful IUI, but am extremely worried that nothing is happening at all. I think the idea of seeing for sure on a sonogram is the worst part. With charting, it was easy to assume that I was O'ing and now I am going to find out for sure.
Anyway, just needed to vent and stress on here as opposed to subjecting DH to anymore.
6/14 - didn't want to start a whole new post...but wanted to update. I went back today and there was a follicle at 12mm...they told me to come back on Friday, but took blood to double check. Then they called me this afternoon to say they want me to come in on Thursday cuz my estrogen was high. Does this mean that 12mm is an okay size? And now I am wondering if they are going to do a trigger!?

Dont be surprised if the follies are small at first they will grow. Even if you only have 1 good sized one, that is all it takes. The month I got pregnant, I had 1 good sized one on my right and on the left I had 2 or 3 small ones.

I do not blame you for being nervous, it is totally understandable .. but all it takes is one follie and you can very well be on your way 
I'm hoping your doctor's appointment is going well (or went well) as we speak!

Thank you everyone for the good wishes. Apparently there was nothing over 10mm, but the Doc said that it's not a problem and I have to go back on Tuesday to see if anything has grown. I guess if there isn't anything by then I should really start to worry.

I am not sure about the practices of your doctor, but mine won't trigger until you reach a size of 17. When I was talking to him last week I asked what size he looks for and he told me as long as its in the range of 17-22 then he will send that follie on its way.
Have you ever taken a trigger shot before?

Same thing here. They will take blood and do a sono when monitoring you. When you have a follie size about 17-22mm, then they will do the HCG trigger shot to induce ovulation. Are you doing an IUI??

I was told a good follicle wil grow 1.5 to 2.0mm per day. By Thurday you may be in the 16mm range.

No, I have never taken a trigger before...this is my first time with the whole IUI experience. I guess I'll find out tomorrow what size the follie is and what they are going to do.
