Has anyone ever had their short Lp lengthened?
Hi I was just curious, has anyone here have had success with thier LP defect?? If so, what did u do?TIA!!!!

I used progesterone cream and got my BFP that month.
Talk to your OB about using progesterone.

mine has been extended by maybe a day from using B6.
At lunchtime - i take 2 B-6 vitamins. I also take a Balanced B-100 complex at the same time.
I went from 9 days of LP to 10 days before spotting...so i guess that's good - but it did take 3 months.

i tried taking vitamin b-complex because my LP was anywhere from 8-12 days. (b6 is the important vitamin but it's more effective if taken in a complex vitamin)
i started taking it in the middle of cycle 3. that month i had an 8 day LP. the next month, cycle 4, i got a BFP at 10DPO so i don't actually know if it worked.
but i will say that i think it helped, and it can't hurt, so i plan on taking it again when we TTC #2.

Mine lengthened by takin 150 mg of B6
it went from 9 days to 12 days

Ok good to know-I took a B6 vitamin last month--but i usually forgot-and it was only 100 mg--I guess next month I wont forgot as much :) So 100 mg is enough?? or should I up the dose?

it's entirely up to you...your body will get rid of any B-6 vitamins that you don't need. you'll notice your urine BRIGHTLY colored yellow!

I have been taking 300 mg of vitamin B6 and a B Complex forthe past 4 months. One month it increased a lot (12 days) and some months it is still 9 or 10. I am going to continue taking it one more month before going to the doctor.

I have a question, this is confusing for me-- If I got a positive on my OPK, Wednesday the 4th--what day would u start counting as an Ovualtion day so I calculate my LP??? thanks soooooooo much!!!

I am currently taking 200 mg of B6 with my prenatal vitamin. I take a B-100 complex and 100 mg of B6 with it.

the best bet is to consider your O date - the day AFTER your positive OPK. So - Thursday was your ovulation date. Friday begins day 1 of your LP.

yep, i got pregnant after 4 months trying with a relatively short LP.
if you're having a hard time conceiving and have a short LP, that might be the culprit. but not all people with short LPs have trouble conceiving.

yep, i got pregnant after 4 months trying with a relatively short LP.
if you're having a hard time conceiving and have a short LP, that might be the culprit. but not all people with short LPs have trouble conceiving.
