Just a FYI- salicylates and miscarriage
Hi girls,
Just read something interesting that I thought I would share for those TTC.
Aspirin or NSAIDS (aleve, motrin advil) increases the risk of early miscarriage up to 80% and the risk is highest right around the time of conception.
Other products that you may not know contain salicylates are pepto-bismal, kaopectate, and salicylic acid. skin products.
HTH!

It's just the opposite for me. I need to be on aspirin therapy plus other meds 2 months prior to conceiving bc I have poor circulation to the uterus.
Very interesting.

It's not the aspirin- it's the anti-inflammatories in those products that can do harm. That's why you can take tylenol or lose dose aspirin.
