pre natal vitamin help
my RE nurse said i should be taking a pre-natal vitamin. how are prima care one? i dont want to be constipated or feel nauseous after taking them!

When I was prenant PrimaCare was my prenatal. They're good b/c the fish oil keeps you regular and they are a gelcap so they don't make you nauseous.

I never used those, but if you're worried, take them right b4 bed.

I am taking the PrimaCare One and since I began taking them I've become constipated. I've increased my water and my DR also said to try Miralax....it's a laxative but it's not super strong. I usually take it before bed and I am able to go in the AM or vice versa. It helps a little but it def. not the same as it was before the prenatal vitamin. Also try taking them with food(avoid milk, just water) or take at night...your sleep through nausea.
Next month I will be taking generic b/c its cheaper for me.

Same here. And i have a very sensitive stomach. They haven't bothered me at all

I'm taking the PrimaCare Advantage - it's a dual pill - a gelcap in the AM and a tablet in the PM.
I've actually become more "regular"  since I've started taking them. They have a stool softener which made a HUGE difference compared to the other prenatal I was on

OMG - it was the best thing EVERRRRRRR!!!!! Totally TMI, but I went from going like once every 4 days (and having it majorly HURT!)to once a day - smooth sailing!

I took GNC Prenatals before I got my prescription for Prenate elite.
I didn't have any problems with either of them

I've been taking the Targey brand too based on recs from here. No problems & easy to swallow too.
Good to know about the dual pill...I'll remember that when I go to the dr.

I take prima care and love them.
Before I got pregnant I was taking the target brand prenatal and an omega 3 pill everyday.
