Please help, Shelby is Sick
Last night DH and I came home to find an ENTIRE tube of hair gel had been eaten. It was pretty full... Has this happened to ANYONE???
I called the hotline but no one was there. I tried again today but didn't get an answer.
I wasn't too concerned b/c she didn't seem sick but about an hour or so ago she threw up twice, substancially each time.
Since then, she's been laying on the couch and seems very mellow/lethargic.
I'm kind of worried... I mean this is usually around the time she mellows out anyway but I'm not sure if it's because she's sick or b/c it's just her time of night to start to chill out.
I'm figuring I'll call the vet tomorrow if she doesn't perk up by then.

She'll probably be okay...especially if she threw up. Is she going No. 2? I would just want to make sure she's working at both ends. Hope she's feeling better.

She poo'd this morning (I think - I can't remember but I'm pretty sure she did) but hasn't gone since. Or at least I haven't seen her poo since.
I'd say she's working at both ends but I'll know for sure tomorrow morning when she usually does her business.
Thanks guys...

Why not call Animal Poison control?
I have no experience with this, honestly. My dogs never ate anything weird.
I hope she is ok!!!

Re: Please help, Shelby is Sick
She seems to be doing better.
I took her out last night for their last walk before bed and she pooped so that was good.
Then this morning, both she and Arnold slept in a little later than usual but eventually got up and went out and did their business (they both peed and pooped).
She seemed more like her usual self so I think throwing up is just what she needed to get whatever she had in her system out of it.
Not to be too gross but her stool was regular so it would seem that she's gonna be ok.
Thanks everyone!!
