Ok so I went to chat with my Re..

about the FSH level and what he thought was our problem.

He said that last months was 7.9 which was "beautiful". He thought the 12 thing was weird but, it was only once and in May. He is watching it. He said the "10's" don't really mean my egg quality is affected now but that my clock is ticking.

He wanted me to continue on Clomid this month. Apparently the more months you take clomid the better success rates. This will be my second month. Last month was 25mg. This month is 50 mg.
So if it doesn't work this month or next month then we discuss IVF or injectables but, since I have insurance he might move right to IVF.

He said right now it is unexplained IF with a little male factor (less then when we started). His counts have been lower but his motility is much much better (sometimes in the normal range and his counts have always been fantastic!) So that is good.

He said that his sperm could be moving better but not moving in the right directions or my tubes could be not grabbing the egg correctly. So that is why we are doing two more months only and then moving to IVF.

I feel better now. He also said that most people who will get pg from IUI do in the 4th-6th try. This will be our 5th. He said that if IUI is going to work for us it will be in the next two months or so and then he doesn't want to waste too much more time on IUI.

I am also not really ready for IVF yet so I think I feel much better after talking to him today.

I am so glad he explained it all & you have a new plan It definately does make sense & I am sure you are more at ease now!!!!! Here is to this month on Clomid!!!!

Glad you have a plan. By the way, IVF is not that bad at all and it's great that you have coverage. Good Luck!!!!
