I registered with CBR...just got my kits today.
After doing TONS of research and asking on here the thing that stuck out the most to me is that Viacords storage facility is near the water and could possibly be effected if there is a flood. CBR has theirs in the desert in Arizona. This to me was the deal breaker.

we chose CBR.
I'll say there are many more choices than just CBR and viacord... it's just that viacord inundates you with ads in every dr's office, and CBR inundates you with TV commercials...
I strongly advise you go to this non-profit website that gives you the unbiased stats for each company.
Just be aware that many companies have patented collection methods so they can claim they're the only ones who do X. From what I know about primary cell culture, a good portion of these methods are reasonably similar, and from my pubmed research, there is no publicly funded (unbiased) reasearch that determined one technique is better than another...
When I read all of the stats, viacord and CBR were really similar with all of their pros and cons and their prices... but CBR DID give me a substantial medical professional discount... and like mentioned above, they DO store their samples in an area less prone to natural disasters.... these subtle differences made us go with CBR.
