I wish this baby would come already!!!
I know I am only 35 weeks but I'm SO done!!! I can't get a decent night sleep, I'm uncomfortable, and more than anything I'm SO tired of dealing with the GD. It's so frustrating some days!!! The changing hormones make managing the GD so difficult because what worked one day doesn't work the next and I'm constantly upping my insulin dosage and it just makes me feel like I am in a losing battle here. I'm getting annoyed with everything!!!
I have another sono today to see how big the baby is and I'm a nervous wreck because 2 weeks ago the baby was measuring at 5lbs11oz. and I'm so afraid it's waaaaay bigger even though my sugars have been controlled for the most part these past 2 weeks. It's just not fun anymore and I REALLY wish this baby would just get here early!!!!!!!!!!

Re: I wish this baby would come already!!!
lots of to my near date twin and fellow GD'er.......
My GD is a lot less variable than yours. I can basically control it with diet.... but I DO have to be more and more stringent during the day to make sure I stay in line.
The WEIGHT of Scone is really starting to drag me down. I can only do 60% of what I once did at work, and less than 40% of what I did at home, since I'm so tired at night. Sleeping is ok (lots of pillows for support) but getting out of bed to pee is Sooooo difficult!
I'm constantly thirsty (despite drinking 5 L a day) and my ankles are officially granni-fied. There's no turning back!
But, on the flip side, I really hope Scone stays in there until at least 37 weeks.
(saying that, you know I just jinxed myself and scone will come late!)

I am aiming for the baby to get out at 37 weeks!!! It's really the GD that's wearing me down. I'm doing EVERYTHING I am suppose to and I know the endocrinologist said it's perfectly normal and expected that my insulin needs will increase as the pregnancy progresses but it's still frustrating.
Hopefully for the both of us we have healthy little babies that come a little sooner than 40 weeks..........that's just too long to wait!!
