Doesn't he have a primary doctor that he goes to for a cold or something like that? Call their emergency service and them them what's going on. Trying to talk to the surgeon who performed his appendectomy is next to impossible. Good luck.

actually i have spoken to the dr. several times - he changed his medication when i spoke to him on tuesday but that was prior to any of these new symptoms

I will keep you and your DH in my prayers. Im sure he will be ok. If he smiles is it a crooked smile and if he sticks out his tongue does it go to one side? Can he lift his hands in air above head and both stay in the air together. all signs of a stroke. I hope he is ok. Chances are it is a drug reaction and needs to clear his system. Tell him if he goes to hosp. chances are they will give him a shot of epinephrine to decrease swelling and thats it.

he was able to do all of those things and now thinks im crazy for asking lOL
he still has a slurred speech , not totally as bad as it was
