Thanks ladies - I didn't know if my initial negative reaction was warranted or not. I gave it some thought, though, & decided to remove my post. Ya' never know - my friend my be on the pg board and I don't want her to come across it! Thanks again!

i think there are better ways of saying this... it makes you feel like you HAVE to get one of these items.. its not uncommon to put "wishing well" on the invite.. but to list everything seems wierd.. maybe im out of it too though..

I don't know if this is the "new thing," (unless the new thing is to be rude) but I would be really offended too. I think it is nervy to spell out exactly what gifts they want. You should give what you want. Whenever people do stuff like that to me, I purposely do not give what they are so rude to ask for.
