Who's gotten PG with IUI?
How many times did you do IUI before you got PG?
Just looking for some support for a family member going through this

My sister got pregnant thru IUI on her third try. I just started Clomid again this week for my second try... I hope to not need a third!

we did!
It took us 4 tries
Of the 4 tries, we got PG three times
Two resulted in miscarriage, and the last resulted in triplets. In the end, we gave birth to twin girls

I got PG three times with unmedicated IUIs.
I had a total of 5 IUI cycles.
#1 - Did not take
#2 - Worked but ended in a chemical pregnancy
Skipped a month/cycle to recoup.
#3 Worked but I had an m/c somewhere between 6 and 7 weeks.
Skipped a month/cycle to recoup.
#4 - Did not take
#5 - Worked and I am due in 3 weeks.

I got pregnant my first IUI, which sadly ended in miscarriage. I then got pregnant our second IUI and am now 17 weeks pregnant with twins.

Thanks everyone. Glad to hear some happy success stories. And continued to those of you still trying.
My heart is breaking for my family member. Her insurance only covers 3 attempts...her first one just came back negative. It breaks for all of you that go through so much

IUI # 3 - didn't work
IUI # 4 - miscarriage
(2 IVFs between here, one chemical, one no good embryos)

Got pregnant twice in four tries..
1# didn't work
2# chemical pregnany
3# didn't work
4# heartbeat stopped at 11 weeks - baby had downs syndrome
So..I am now moving onto#5...

Ok, forgive my ignorance as I haven't read about this procedure much at all, and please excuse me if this is out of line.
I notice a lot of you had success but then lost the pregnancies. Is this common?

4-injectables didn't work
5-injectables and got PG

I personally do not think so but I am not a doctor so I wouldn't and couldn't say for sure. It is said that one out of 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage. There are also other factors that come onto play. For example, an older woman (such as myself though I am not old) also stands more of a chance of having an m/c than her younger counterparts.

I did on my second IUI with clomid! Miscarriages have nothing to do with the fertility treatment, usually just has to do with your body and how the embryo adapts to the uterus ....
