I am curious about this....why does this person want nothing to do with the non-cheating parent?

I am curious about this....why does this person want nothing to do with the non-cheating parent?
Because the non-cheating parent took the cheating parent back. And they feel like that is a betrayal as well.
And because they only just learned about it. My friend feels like they should have been told before.

I think I could not truly answer this unless I walked in the footsteps of someone in this situation.
As I sit here, I am trying to imagine finding out now that either of my parents had cheated. You know, I don't think I could ever judge them for something that happened in their marriage. I know friends/relatives who have cheated/been cheated on and I never judge them. I just try to be there for them.

Well, my mother was the "other woman" I totally was an affair child! My father eventually divorced his former wife (who was a lovely lady) and was married to my mother until his death 26 years later.
Do I approve of what he did? No, but at least all parties involved handeled the situation like adults (at least that is what I have heard)

I have close friend whose mom cheated on her dad. She wound up getting divored and married the other man. My friend has no issue with it(atleast that she's expressed to me and we're pretty close.) Her parents are actually good friends now.
