Thought of the day-
I was getting blood drawn today and I saw a woman who was about my age, maybe a little older. Her son was asleep in his stroller. I got up to use the facilities and when I got back I sat next to them. He woke while I was gone and she had him on her lap. He was as cute as can be but you can tell he had Downs syndrome. I thought to myself- that could be me. It really hit me hard bc of the mothers age. It is possible that I could have a child that has disabilities. What would I do?
Makes you think- what would you do?

it's a risk for us as well...as Dave inches closer to 40 and i get closer to 35.

i just feel that more and more women are having babies at later ages now and the baby comes out healthy and fine..
not saying it cant happen, but its just an observation.
