Rash from estraderm patches - Updated (spoke to the nurse)
Has anyone developed a rash from the patches? I took them off my stomach yesterday and put the new ones on my butt  but my stomach is still SO red and irritated. My skin is raised a bit in that area and it's very red and itchy. Will this go away on it's own??

I don't know- so far I haven't though they're REALLY itchy underneath the patch while I'm wearing them. I haven't noticed any rash yet though- I would maybe give them a call and ask them- maybe they can give you a different patch.

Spoke to the nurse today and have to go in tomorrow to get it checked out  She said I could just be having an allergic reaction to them and might need to take oral estrogen. In the meantime, I am worrying.

Awww sweetie- it's nothing to worry about. My mom and my grandma are both allergic to patches- any kind. It's the adhesive, not whatever is on it (the progesterone in this case).

I got something under my last patch, think it was from the adhesive. It left a horrible red mark in the shape of the patch and I still have a mark on my backside/upper quadrant, where i put it last. Though its not itchy or anything, just like a healing mark. That was almost 3 months ago. But, me and adhesives don't go together.

I have one on my butt from the estraderm. I had no problem with the vivelle and they were much smaller. But I still have a red itchy patch from one of the estraderm patches.
