loose stools
lately ollie has been having some diarrhea (sorry if it's TMI). She doesn't seem to be in pain but I feel like it's not normal. Should I try switching her food? Or is there anything I can put in her food to firm up her stools? TIA

Re: loose stools
My experience is when ever I give my dog something outside of her dog food she gets loose stool.. ie: last night I BBQ'd hamburgers. I gave her a little little piece.. This morning diarrhea!! It never fails.. Did you do something like that maybe?? Or better yet did someone else?? My DH is going to get his a$$ kicked if he keeps it up!! He just doesn't get it!

lol it's not funny but the way you said it was. She was throwing up the other day so we gave her boiled rice and chicken a few times and then gradually mixed her dog food back in. Could that have done it? I thought that was light enough not to hurt her.

Re: loose stools
We do a mixture of white rice and ground meat for a week after a really bad bout. And then, slowly reintroduce the regular food.
