I was in HS during the grunge era--so I lived in flannel shirts practically every day.
Towards the end of high school, I was what I like to call a "closet goth". GOD how I would have loved to wear all black and dark lipstick--but my mom would have disowned me, so I just went all out for NIN concerts

I am embarrassed to say that I actually worked at Merry Go Round in High School  . That pretty much explains a lot about my style!!!

I was pretty heavy so whatever fit and didnt make me look bigger than I was, was what I wore. I lost out on a lot of the trendy clothing.

In JHS I was preppy...and kinda dressed dorky, actually....now that I think back!!!!!
In HS I wore a uniform, but otherwise I was more trendy! I had new hairstyles because my aunt owned a salon and my uncle would try out new styles and colors on me!

JHS--what style? Big comb in back pocket of designer jeans.
HS--typical mid-80s look. Think "16 Candles" or something along those lines, with big hair.

JH I went to an all girls Catholic school. My weekend clothes were either JCrew or Gap. I wore rugbees with matching socks and polos, buck shoes.
Then highschool. I wore a lot of black, pierced lots of things, wore thigh high fishnets with doc boots, sometimes flanel. Black nails. Many hair colors.
I did a hippie phase too. Birks & overalls.
Generally, I did not wear enough clothing and I would kick my daughters butt if she went out of the house wearing the things I would.

Well, JHS I went to Catholic school so, a uniform but I made sure I had the high bangs!
HS - total alterna-hippie....think Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Green day...ripped jeans, t shirts and flannels! Dark makeup , henna rinses in my hair Brown lipstick (Toast of New York by Revlon, baby!)
