What do you do for a 4-hour hold???
Are you not allowed to pee in those four hours??? or just not drink anything???

pretty much both & it SUCKS.
Your best time to test is between noon and 8:00 PM though...so GO NOW...
I try to do my hold from like 3:00 - 7:00...

I don't really buy into the whole waiting 4 hour thing. When I was using OPK's, I never held for 4 hours. I would usually hold for about 90 minutes or so, but 4 hours is ridiculous if you ask me.

Did you get a +OPK?
Yes, on the rare occassions my body decided to cooperate I would. I had to stop using the OPK's when I switched to medicated cycles with my RE.

I agree- I would only hold for 2 hours, then test around 3pm. I got a positive OPK doing it that way.

You can eat whatever you want. Actually, I drank (not a ton, maybe a glass of wine or two) during my hold earlier this week, and I got a positive OPK clear as day. I found the later I tested, the better the result so I held off from 4 or 5 until 7/8PM.

Don't drive yourself crazy!
Just try to hold in your urine for 3-4 hours. That's it.
The thing you don't want to do is pee and then drink a gallon of water just to make yourself pee again so you can use an OPK.
