I swear time is standing still!
8 days and counting...
And can I ask- any LI-IVFers, WHY are they making me wait a full 2 weeks from the day of TRANSFER? I always thought it was 2 weeks from the retrieval, since that's technically O day. TIA!

Re: I swear time is standing still!
I don't know, but it's sooooo annoying! I got my BFP LAST Saturday (and everday since!) and called to come in a few days earlier, and they said no. I had to wait SIX more days! I go tomorrow for my beta. I will ask then!

Re: I swear time is standing still!
I am sure I will break down and test before their scheduled beta, especially since I am shooting for a 5dt. I give you tons of credit for holding out on the HPT!!

I don't know why they make you wait so long, but I give you credit for holding out. I am pretty positive I'll be testing before the beta.

Re: I swear time is standing still!
LOL- you girls give me too much credit!! I am a POAS addict! I could NEVER wait until the beta I'm just saying- the thought of the 2ww is KILLING me!! And time is going MUCH slower this week than normal!!!! I have nothing to report yet but it's still early.... but if I do ( ) get something good to report I'm sure I'd rather only wait until Wed rather than Fri!

Re: I swear time is standing still!
I have no idea but that is their policy and if you do test (which I did) don't let them know, because they don't like that.
I guess the truth is that while we can get BFPs from the home tests we really need our beta #s as the true test of a viable pregnancy
I hope time passes quickly, I know it's not easy!!

Yeah, I got an attitude when I told them I tested. I am afraid they'll yell at me tomorrow!

Re: I swear time is standing still!
Shannon, I think we should start a thread with ideas on how to pass the time during the tww. We've all been there...
Good luck. My fingers, toes, eyes and legs are crossed for you... ...Okay, the leg crossing thing isn't as big of a sacrifice as it sounds -- I feel crummy from stimming and am totally not in the mood lately.

I know exactly how you feel while stimming too! UGH!!! GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!!

OK, I wanted to make sure it really was a full 2 weeks b/c I've heard of others (not sure where they went though) testing earlier. Thanks for responding That's what I mean too- if we get a BFP I'll be over the moon thrilled, but I won't really consider it viable until however many betas are done to make sure the process is starting out as it should, KWIM?

Re: I swear time is standing still!
I wanted to add that I just killed an hour and a half of my time by watching 10,000 BC. DH thought it was one of the worst movies he's ever seen and my dad seemed to enjoy it- but talked through the entire thing making up his own dialogue.
