ugh.... a 3rd trimester realization:
since we're going on leave soon, we have to work harder than usual to tie up all loose ends at work.....
HOWEVER.....
we're also bloated, achy, fatigued, slow-moving, constantly peeing and generally non-functional.......
yet another pregnancy catch-22.......
sigh..... it's 5:33, I'm tired, and I'm now getting off my bum to start my 3rd experiment 
will likely not end until 9pm

That sucks!! Sorry. I know how you feel. I am terribly anxious about leaving my territory in the hand of incompetent morons from CA who have no clue how to deal with new yorkers. I am doing my best to get everything settled now too, and it is quite frustrating.

Oh that stinks. I got put out last week and I don't know how I would be doing it now. I mean how are we supposed to keep up with everything? I'm lucky I can remember my name in the morning

well, my experiment is now RUNNING... I can rest for an hour until I have to pull it out... then I can go home!
OMG, the memory thing is SOOOO TRUE. I have to tell DH to remind me to do everything... It REALLY sux having gestational diabetes and having preggo brain. I'm supposed to test 2 hours after I eat, but I keep forgetting to check the time when I finish eating  soooo frustrating!
Well, on a happy note, I did 3 experiments today.... 2 are brand new, and I  they work on the first try.... so far, I got the data back from #1, and it worked  . The one that's running now I won't know until tomorrow afternoon...... one down.... one to go!

Oh sconemommy you are reading my mind; i've had to work late every day recently and STILL find i'm wayyyy behind where I "wanted" to be at this point  and my job doesn't sound even a FRACTION as challenging as yours does 
I know it'll all work out BUT I just hate feeling like an unproductive grump and this weather is NOT HELPFUL AT ALL.
