HElp!! Im panicing I have spotting....
Im freaking out and Im in total Panic Mode. I just went to the room and i have spotting. It was just after urinating, no BM and i haven't had any intercourse. I called teh doc and she said just put up my feet and drink water and monitor it. it is bright red not brown. Is this normal? Are the chances that everythiing is OK? please send your prayers!!

no suppositories they said i didnt need them. I just had a sonogram on friday and eveyrthing was perfect. I called the doc and she doesnt seem too concerned. They say to be calm and relax and i dont know how that is gonna happen.

OK just relax. Will they see you tomorrow? There are so many reasons for spotting other than the dreaded reason so dont panic. Are you having any cramps? If not, that's good too!

I just had a major panic attack today due to spotting. I went to the doctor and they told me everything was fine.
Try not to panic. How soon will the see you?

She said to call in the morning if i need to be seen they will get me in. Im prolly gonna call for an appt anyways just to be sure. I dont have any cramps but with my miscarriage i didnt have cramps till it really started getting bad. Could not having enough water do this?

WOW this exactly what I experienced yesterday at 7pm. However, I was in the mist of cooking when I felt the blood. I ran to the bathroom and I had a moderate amount of bright red blood! I panicked too. I called the Dr. who thankfully lives in my neighborhood and has late hours. They allowed me to come see the Dr. at 8pm. They immediately did a sono and as soon as DH and I heard the heartbeat (mind you this was the first time we heard it) we both cried like babies. The Dr. did not want to do a vaginal sono for fear he may make the problem worse.. He will do an exam during my regular appt in a week and exam the results of my bloodwork which are currently pending. I was so scared but calmed by the sound of the heartbeat. I am still a little concerned. I bled red blood for about an hour and since yesterday it has been brown spotting when I wipe. I also do not have any cramping.
During the hour that I was waiting yesterday to see the Dr. it was helpful to research other women on this site who have experienced some sort of bleeding and went on to have normal and healthy pregnancies. I also read in What to Expect that approimately 20% of women experience some sort of bleeding during their pregnancies but still go on to have healthy pregnancies. This was reassuring because I feared the worse. So my advice is to try not to fear worse.

Have you been peeing a lot? Around 13 weeks, I was peeing and wiping around 15-20 times a day (no joke!) my girlfirend got irritated from the toilet paper. After about 3-4 days, I went to pee and when I wiped, there was bright red streaks of blood. Of course, i freaked. My dr. told me to come in, he did an internal exam and a sono and everything was fine. He said the the vagina and all of its parts gets really sensitive during pregnancy and the spotting could be from sex, wiping etc.
Try not to worry...

That happened to me several times this pregnancy. It was scary but all was well!
They said to worry if it had cramping and heavy bleeding.

I had bright red spotting right after peeing.... but it was earlier than you.... 5.5 weeks.
While my Dr. never attributed it to anything, I suspected that me overexerting myself (I did heavy labor... lots of carpet steamcleaning the day before... which means a lot of ab movement/stretching) may have had something to do with it.
It happened first thing in the morning, and I totally panicked and called my dr asap. everything was fine...
since then, I made sure I didn't overexert myself.... no more vacuuming / carpet cleaning for me! also, DH won't let me lift pretty much anything. I never had another spotting experience......
Try your best to limit your panicking, and just stay on bedrest this evening... go to the Dr tomorrow (for peace of mind more than anything else!) and try not to overexert yourself over the next several days

THe same has happened to me...and I have seen blood. It was external. Try to stay calm, put your feet up...relax.

If you think it would make you feel better/have peace of mind,I would go to the emergency room, they'll probably do a sonogram for you to check the baby. Stay calm and keep good thoughts Hope evertything is ok
