I feel like I'm Standing Still
Seeing the other RE Monday, not Oing yet..just kind of sitting here waiting.
No plan yet, no nothing.
I feel like time is passing by and I'm in no man's land.
very strange feeling since I'm a do-er. I'm not doing anything.

Honestly the same thing happened to me...I started seeing the RE in Dec 07 and we didn't do our first (and only) IUI until May. We were waiting for DH's count to go up etc...it will probably all happen at once!  What is the hold up for you guys, though?

yeah, I'm older and I can feel the clock pounding in my body.
I had a high FSH and now switching docs. Hopefully the numbers came down and this doc can help us.
It took 5 weeks to get an appt and I hear that's pretty normal.

See, you have a plan. Don't you? You are seeing one of the best (if not the best) RE in the country. That to me is a great starter plan. You are doing something, you started to change the way you take care of yourself and are getting ready to do what you need to do.
If I didn't have an appointment with an RE I would feel like I was just doing nothing.
Like PP said, age does ad stress. Nothing you can do about that. I am trying not to let it stress me (though not easy everyday).
Hang in there, you are almost at next week.

yes,I have a plan to see another doc. I'm taking better care of myself as evidenced by a dress I bought a few weeks ago online zipping up. It's still too tight but who needs to breathe right? The weight loss was a perk of the new plan. 30 or so more pounds would be nice too.
Yes, he is one of the best REs out there and I can only think that he will have a plan for me.
I'm starting to doubt this will happen though and I'm trying not to go there.
My gut has really been hurting lately from my Crohns and I think it's all anticipation and stress.
I know none of this moves fast enough for any of us. I just feel stuck in neutral.

It's all that waiting around that's such a frustrating part of all of this. But once you get going and have a plan of action in place, you will feel better, and will feel more in control.

I totally understand your feeling since I am a doer also. The waiting game is hard but you will feel better once you get going with a treatment plan. Hang in there!

I hear you.
I'm back in a funk and am foolishly ignoring IF issues this month. I'm constantly calculating the ages of my non-existent children...DH will be 61 when he/she graduates from college...i'll never have anything in common with my friends again anyway even if we do have a child since he/she will be 6+years younger than all the others...
i grow old, i grow old, i shall wear my trousers rolled...
