BTDT Moms: Shaving
I know this question may seem odd but I was reading that they don't require you to shave "down there" before delivering anymore. However it comes recommended that you do for postpartum comfort reasons. So, do I ask to be shaved or should I show up shaved already?

I shaved myself. However, in the delivery room my DH looked at me, then it, then me again and asked if I was trying to shave my initials into it or something.....
This time around I'll use a mirror

They told us in our childbirth class that they dont really do the shaving anymore. As for me, I do it by touch. I dont need fancy designs. Im an all or nothing kind of girl.

heck no!!! that would not have made recovery any easier!
i did get a wax so i could go to the beach at about 36 weeks. i didn't redo it before giving birth and honestly could have cared less what it looked like.
shaving is itchy when it grows back and i sure as heck would not have wanted to feel itchy along with what else i was feeling! 
when you are on that table you don't care what you look like. think about the other stuff that is coming out of you---having trimmed hair is the least of your problems!

I've been doing it myself but I know it's not the neatest of jobs these days. DH offered to do it for me but he's not known for his gracefullness. I guess I'll whip out a mirror and try to work my own magic.

waxed, I have been getting a full leg and brazilian and so much better- no itch!
for my first pg I would shave and didnt like it at all, and hard to say the least.
this time around just going with the wax!
