Re: Question about Ultrascreen

It would be hard to say...

Low levels of Papp-a are indicative of chromosomal anomalies and high levels of hcg are indicative of chromosomal anomalies...

But what levels are within a normal range would depend upon gestational age, crown rump length, and your age...

Basically they put all these numbers into a computer and it spits out your risk...

my downs risk was 1:2347 and trisomy was 1: 9100

but then it showed the hcg and papp-a with %ages and i didnt know if they were good or not

Re: Question about Ultrascreen

I'm sorry...I'm not sure. I never asked to see the print out. My doctor just told me that my results came back 1 in 10,000

I posted the answer to that in another thread. When I get a few mins, I will pull the info up for you as I found it on another website.

This is the best I could find. I can't find the exact link I had, but this is another one that gives you a decent idea.

Your PAPP and your HCG must have been pretty good based on your results. As long as you weren't told you had an increased risk, I don't think you have to be concerned at all! Chat Icon

under the hcg and papp- a levels it said 'Percentiles" under hcg it said 50 and under papp-a it said 30

hcg was 1.07
papp-a was 0.65
