How many injections per day could there be?
I know everyone has a different protocol, but are there some nights where you are giving yourself multiple shots? I am so overwhelmed.

My protocol was 4 injections a day once I started to stim.
AM: Gonal-F
PM: Gonal-F, Lupron, Low-Dose HCG
It is overwhelming but becomes second nature rather quickly.

My first cancelled cycle was
1 shot of menopur (I mixed 4 powders into 1 shot) per day for 4 days
Then I added in a shot of ganerlix for the last 5 days
This cycle
Am Gonal f 3 powders mixed
8am lupron
12 pm lupron
4 pm lupron
8p lupron
pm menopur 3 powders mixed- all of this for 8 days
trigger shot
3 days of PIO
ITA that is sounds like a lot but its really not bad when you get "used" to it.

Mine wasn't bad this time, compared to others.
I started w/ 3 which was then raised to 4, then raised again to 6 amps of menopur a day (but w/ the Qcap they were all mixed into 1 vial so that was great!).
However many days into stimming they added ganirelix. And then of course there are the PIO shots (but LI-IVF only has you do them for 3 days). I think that's it... there are other meds involved, but they were the only injections!

One cycle I was 2 injections in the evening (mix of Gonal-F and Menopur which was one shot) and then the second was Lupron.
My second cycle I did Gonal-F in the morning and Menopur and Lupron at night which was 3 shots a day.

I am really ignorant to this. How do you mix several vials of powders in one shot? That is what I am wondering. I understand how to mix, but how do you mix more than one vial of powder? I have Gonal F and Repronex.

You start w/ your liquid- draw it up into your syringe... inject that into powder A... then draw that up w/ the syringe (or Qcap) and inject that into powder B, and continue down the line of vials until you've gotten them all in- then you draw it up into your syringe and inject Not sure about gonal-f and repronex though- I did that w/ my menopur but it wasn't being mixed w/ any diff meds, though I believe certain ones can be combined into 1 vial...

I did GonalF and Repronex. My protocol was 3 vials of GonalF and one Repronex.
Basically we took the liquid that came with the Repronex vial and injected that into the first GonalF powder, made sure it was mixed, withdrew into the syringe and then injected that mixture into the second vial...same thing until you have all the vials mixed into the syringe.
You only use 1cc of liquid to all those vials.
So, GonalF and Repronex was one shot. That's all I did for about 5 nights. Then the last 2 nights I did that shot plus a Ganerelix shot which was already premixed. The most shots I ever did was 2.

I usually had two: one shot was Ganirelix and the other was Follistim mixed with Menopur....Not too bad....

I had two. Lupron in the AM and menopur in the PM. When I was ready, I triggered with Novarel and then did PIO shots (3) after my ER.
