I felt so special in the produce aisle
I was looking at fruit when a woman came up randomly and started talking to me and commented that I must have "a nice young family"  I took that to mean she thought I had a baby. Maybe I am just letting it go to my head, but it was a good feeling  Just thought I'd share......

Honestly, I don't feel like I can relate.
I think if someone thought I had a baby, I'd probably be upset since we have been trying for so long without any luck.
It's nice that it made you feel good though!
And also, it's late! The TTC board is pretty slow at night

Sorry - I originally didn't reply because I don't relate either...but I think it's mostly because when people say things like that to me they're looking at my big belly thinking that I'm already pregnant...I've had 2 people think that & 1 of them was an old man that YELLED at me a few years ago for being a "stupid, irresponsible, selfish kid" for smoking & putting my "baby" at risk. In addition to that, I've had A LOT of people asking me lately when I'm going to "give in" and get pg...and I just had a mc, so it's all just upsetting to me & I just cringe now when I hear about people making assumptions & inquiries like that!!
That being said, like the pp said, I'm happy that she made you feel good though!!
