To wax or not to wax, or shave?
Hey ladies, These are the things that keep me up at night... Are you planning on waxing the nether-regions for those weeks you are expecting? Is it even possible or advisable to shave that day you go into labor...or do you just not care at all what is happening down there as long as the they get that baby out asap!!??
By the way...I've only waxed once, like 5 years ago... and haven't since...should I even attempt that at 9 months???

Believe it or not, knock on wood, he has not cut me once!! I almost ALWAYS cut myself, but he really did a great job, the two times I had him do it.

I've just been keeping things trim. I couldn't even imagine getting waxed at this point I'll be in for enough pain when the time comes!!

Yeah, I took a chance, but I couldn't stand the thought of it going unshaved.

Waxing and shaving!!!! Now that is a blast from the past!! Can you remind what those two things are again? I think I did partake in those two rituals sometime in my youth.

A few weeks ago, I had a bikini wax and it really hurt. It had been a while since I had one done. As much as it hurt, I was happy with the results. I'll probably continue waxing throughout the pregnancy.

Re: To wax or not to wax, or shave?
i have waxed everything down since getting married (7/07) and i def. plan to keep up the routine. i do like how clean and tidy things are..
i got a waxing around 10weeks pregnant and it was fine! i plan to go again this friday and i am 17wks.
I go to completely bare spa in the city. it is expensive ($75 a session) but sooooooooo worth it!! they use a thicker harder wax that adheres to the hair, not the skin. i would say the most painful time was the first time and then there was a time in between when i didnt go for a while and it hurt like a b*tch! but its been fine ever since!!

The funniest thing is he offered after I was complaining about how I hadn't shaved there in so long. I guess you get to a point in your pregnancy that you don't care how it's done, as long as it gets done!!

I had my dd shave me the day we went to the hospital
when I needed a c-section, the nurses came in with a razor, saw how ahem, clean I was and complimented my dh on a job well done
he was mortified to say the least, the nurses and I were
